Position Summary
Carry out essential maintenance and repair tasks on various building systems and equipment. Additionally, design and construct functional spaces for facilities, production processes, and office environments to ensure optimal operation and efficiency.

Position Summary
Carry out essential maintenance and repair tasks on various building systems and equipment. Additionally, design and construct functional spaces for facilities, production processes, and office environments to ensure optimal operation and efficiency.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Identifying training needs and developing training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on exercises.
- Creating and updating training programs for new and existing equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Trains new staff
- Providing technical guidance and support to trainees.
- Adapting training methods to suit different learning styles and needs.
- May be involved in developing and updating maintenance procedures
- Troubleshoots and repairs electrical issues with relay logic, programmable controllers, and electronic devices. Reads ladder logic and wiring blueprints.
- Provide onsite direct interaction with internal and external customers providing excellent customer service
- Maintains and repairs machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Identifies problems in operating devices and disassembles them to remove defective parts.
- Leads shifts and adjusts components of devices and control instruments.
- Installs specialized parts and tests performance.
- Performs preventive maintenance and creates replacement parts and fixtures.
- Relocates equipment and connects electrical, pneumatic, and water lines.
- Inspects parts for imperfections and assesses dimensional changes.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in specialized training, skills, abilities, and functions.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and building systems; ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Problem-solving: Effective troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for machinery and system issues.
- Attention to Detail: Thorough inspections and repairs to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Time Management: Efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet maintenance schedules.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols in a factory environment and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Communication: Clear communication with team members and supervisors regarding maintenance issues.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks and work in demanding conditions.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and urgent maintenance needs.
- Teamwork: Collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
- Continuous Learning: Openness to training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Factory environment with noise from a manufacturing environment
- Possible exposure to chemicals, moving equipment, parts, and electrical shock
- Sometimes lifts, carries, or moves objects -- up to 50 pounds.
- Regular and predictable onsite productive attendance
- Not afraid of heights and working in tight spaces
