The Loan Servicing Representative will provide quality service while supporting internal members in a wide array of general functions for both Consumer and Real Estate Loan Servicing. General Loan Support
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum 6 months clerical experience in a credit union or similar financial institution with basic consumer lending knowledge.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic computer skills with general knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of California and out of state DMV Policy and Procedures. General knowledge of credit union/and or financial institution loan policies and procedures. Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Knowledge required includes standardized rules; procedures or operations requiring considerable training and experience to perform the full range of standard clerical assignments and resolve recurring problems.
Salary Range: $19.26/hr -$28.89/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

General Loan Support
- Assists internal members over the phone with basic loan inquiries, and loan policy and procedure clarifications
- Receives and processes consumer loan rate reduction/limit increase requests
- Processes basic loan adjustments, re-amortization (calculations), payment changes/adjustments, and loan extension requests
- Processes miscellaneous requests to include: mail requests, LOC closure requests, Letters of Guarantee, and Verification of Deposits
- Maintains Daily Closed Loan Report
- Posts and maintains reports for consumer loan payoffs
- Completes Payment Reversals and basic adjustments
- Performs closing duties
- Acts as Liaison between Insurance Vendors, Members and other departments
- Processes Debt Protection Claims and Adjustments
- Tracks and maintains applications for Extended warranty and Guaranteed Asset Protection
- Reviews and submits related remittance reports for general ledger reconciliation.
Education and/or Experience:
