Trueline’s client, a growing Colorado-based law firm, is seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney to join their team in Lakewood. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional with deep trial experience and a strong grasp of insurance defense litigation to step into a high-impact role within a supportive, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do As The Litigation Attorney
- Manage a full caseload across various litigation areas, including insurance defense, real estate disputes, and fiduciary-related claims
- Oversee cases through all phases—from intake and discovery to settlement, trial, and appeal
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
- Meet with clients and respond to inquiries regarding case status and strategy
- Collaborate with team members and participate in business development efforts
- Appear in district, administrative, and county courts as needed
- Active license to practice law in Colorado
- 7–10 years of litigation experience, including trial work in district courts
- Background in insurance defense and/or complex civil litigation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines and handle cases independently
- High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and interpersonal tact
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Practice Master or similar case management systems
- Experience with NetDocuments or comparable document management software
- Portable book of business
- Comfortable, relatable communication style that balances professionalism with authenticity
