What You Will Be Doing

• Orchestrating dynamic reading workshops that strengthen core literacy foundations—phonics mastery, comprehension strategies, and fluency development
• Crafting inspirational literacy experiences tailored to individual learners that spark genuine enthusiasm for reading
• Harnessing student performance metrics to fine-tune instructional approaches and identify key improvement opportunities
• Partnering with engineering specialists to test, refine, and optimize AI-driven literacy platforms
  
  

Basic Requirements

Literacy Program Coordinator key responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree complemented by specialized certification in research-based reading methodologies (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable approaches)
• Minimum 2-year track record facilitating targeted reading intervention groups for K-2 learners
• Demonstrated expertise in reading assessment, strategic student grouping, and creating customized instruction without reliance on pre-packaged curriculum
• Demonstrated comfort with adaptive learning technologies and ability to respond effectively to student engagement patterns
• Authorization to work within the United States without requiring sponsorship
• Commitment to in-person work at one of our learning centers in Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
