Legal Assistant (Part-Time)

As our part-time Legal Assistant, you will perform litigation support, including responding to subpoenas, discovery requests, and obtaining documents and other information necessary to initially respond to or file a complaint. General secretarial and administrative tasks including organizing and maintaining litigation files, tracking settlement documentation, and processing invoices for legal fees. Job also includes some transactional secretary and administrative support such as the timely preparation of closing packages and processing post-closing packages for the Corporate Counsel and Associates.

Requirements include an associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or two or three years of related experience and/or training; and/or paralegal certificate or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, data entry, and filing. Attention to detail, accuracy, tact, and courtesy skills required.
