Job Summary:

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. As a Software Engineer in Lifecycle Collaboration Software, you will be responsible for developing the Teamcenter software, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery while collaborating with distributed teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of software and associated test automation based on roughly predetermined architectures for large enterprise platforms, together with colleagues in worldwide distributed development teams.

• Proactive contribution to the team to ensure successful and high-quality product delivery.

• Perform all steps in the software development life cycle (specs, design, construction, test plan & execution) using Agile methodology.

• Solve complex technical problems.

• Performance, scalability, and system testing.

• Defect and problem report backlog reduction.

• Occasional customer interaction.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

• 1+ years of experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or C++.

• 1+ years of experience in web technologies like JS, HTML5, CSS or web frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.

• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team success.

• Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems.

• Works with minimal supervision on complex projects with wide latitude for independent judgment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Good understanding of Agile methodology and working experience with Scrum.

Preferred:

• Cloud or Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience is beneficial.
