What You’ll Do
As an intern with our Crisis Stabilization Services team, you’ll be immersed in a 24/7 residential treatment facility, where your role will be pivotal. Your responsibilities may include.
- Hands-on Training: Gain practical experience in facilitating client participation in their care plan by interaction with them as a source of emotional support, resource problem solving, and advocating for their needs.
- Service Plan Development: Participate in the delivery of group care activities. Participate in house/community meetings and engage clients in discussion.
- Team Collaboration: Assist in the client admission process including orientation, training and other activities to maximize clients’ positive adjustment to the milieu setting.
- Coordination: Assist with meal service and participate with clients during the meal time and assist with client wellness checks and breaks.
- Current Enrollment: Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s level program relevant to the placement at an accredited institution.
- Academic Standing: Be in good standing with your university or college.
- Background Check: Successfully complete a background check, including fingerprinting and drug screening.
- Health Requirements: Annual Flu vaccine and TB testing is required.
