About The Role

Join Indiana’s leading healthcare system as a Senior Improvement Leader. In this strategic role, you will collaborate across all levels of leadership and frontline teams to drive quantifiable results aligned with IU Health’s system and regional objectives. Your expertise will facilitate breakthrough improvements in complex processes, fostering a culture of continuous excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and teams to share accountability for process improvements.
• Lead and deploy strategic programs to achieve impactful results.
• Facilitate and drive complex process improvement initiatives using lean management principles.
• Develop and enhance lean management systems rooted in Toyota Production System and High Reliability Organization (HRO) philosophies.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members, fostering growth and knowledge sharing.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5-7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Lean Expertise: 2-3 years in complex matrix organizations, utilizing techniques such as:
• Value Stream Mapping (VSM/VSA)
• DMAIC
• Scientific Thinking
• Operating Systems
• Training Within Industry (TWI)
• 3P
• Problem Solving Tools
• System Thinking
• Just Culture
• High Reliability Organization (HRO)
• SIPOC & FMEA
• Project Management: Proven experience leading complex initiatives.
• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office.
