Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and consultant to designated departments and leadership, aligning business objectives with HR strategies that drive performance, engagement, and organizational success. This role partners with department leaders to develop and implement HR initiatives in talent planning, workforce development, employee relations, and change management, while also ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies.

Strategic Partnership
While performing the duties of this job, employee will comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to Easter Seals Arkansas.

Education And/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including strategic partnership with business leaders. Prior experience in coaching leadership and influencing across all levels of the organization. HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.

This role partners with department leaders to develop and implement HR initiatives in talent planning, workforce development, employee relations, and change management, while also ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies.

Strategic Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on human capital strategies and organizational effectiveness.
- Understand departmental goals and challenges, and develop HR strategies that support business priorities.
- Leverage HR analytics to identify trends, recommend solutions, and drive decision-making.
- Lead or participate in organizational planning initiatives including succession planning, workforce planning, and talent pipeline development.
- Collaborate with managers to identify talent needs, skills gaps, and development opportunities across teams.
- Partner with leadership to design and implement individual development plans and team-based learning strategies.
- Promote a culture of feedback and continuous improvement through coaching and talent assessments.
- Proactively address employee engagement, morale, and conflict issues in collaboration with department managers.
- Investigate complex employee relations matters and recommend solutions aligned with best practices and legal requirements.
- Support performance management processes by training supervisors, advising on difficult conversations, and ensuring consistency and fairness.
- Work with leaders to forecast staffing needs and develop proactive sourcing strategies.
- Partner with recruitment staff or lead efforts in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top talent aligned with organizational values.
- Strengthen relationships with community partners, universities, and professional networks to expand talent pipelines.
- Support the implementation of organizational changes, including process improvements, restructuring, or leadership transitions.
- Drive communication strategies that foster transparency and employee engagement during times of change.
- Partner with leaders to monitor the impact of changes and ensure long-term sustainability.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across departments.
- Maintain knowledge of federal and state employment laws and ensure compliance.
- Partner with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to mitigate organizational risk and manage investigations.
- Lead onboarding initiatives to accelerate integration and engagement of new hires.
- Provide training on leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and policy interpretation.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and management to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.

- Ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.
