Job Requirements

POSITION SUMMARY

To be fully engaged in providing exceptional customer service to all customers of Health First, as

well as executing the administration of all aspects of Human Resources programs and services.

The HR Coordinator will provide assistance to all customers and respond to questions and

concerns in support of the Health First Integrated Delivery Network.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Professional and courteous handling of high call volume – routing callers to the correct

point of contact.

  • Review applicant I-9 documents such as passport, work visas and ensure all required

documentation has verified employment eligibility using E-verify.

  • Effectively communicates policy, procedure, benefits, training schedules and payroll

information to all customers.

  • Manages high volume customer service support and develops strategies to create better

systems and process flow for improved customer access.

  • Functions as a liaison between all Human Resources Departments to ensure

documentation and communications are updated and consistently provided to our

customers.

  • Adheres to all HIPAA and Internet security regulations when classifying, distributing, and

filing documents according to established procedures.

  • Participates in and supports on-demand training (virtual or in person) to end users as

needed by our customers.

  • Generates basic HRIS reports and distributes to the appropriate target audience.
  • Escalates customer concerns immediately for resolution.
  • Conducts research and administrative support for special projects as requested or

approved by leadership.

  • Maintains and updates applicant information, status, and creation of personnel file for all

new hire candidates throughout the pre-employment clearance process in the applicant

tracking system(s).

  • Effectively utilizes HR software programs as needed to support to HR entities as

assigned.

  • Provides direct support for Associate Experience Team, Learning and Innovations,

Onboarding as needed.

  • Provides support for Residency and Student Experience Programs

Work Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

 Licensure: None Required

 Certification: None Required

 Work Experience: 2 years of relevant experience

 Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in HR systems
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter and able to work independently with minimal

supervision

Preferred Qualifications

 Education: Associate degree

 Licensure: None Required

 Certification: None Required

 Work Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources

 Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Highly organized, attention to detail, motivated self-starter,

excellent time management skills, customer focused, professional communication skills

Physical Requirements

Sedentary – Office Workers

 Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time

 Walking and standing or lifting more than 10 pounds are required only occasionally

 Must be able to tolerate long periods of computer time a day
