We provide a steady pipeline of residential and small-commercial jobs — you bring the tools, craftsmanship, and professionalism to get them done.
Ideal candidates can work independently, perform their own on-site estimates, and represent the brand with pride.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of repair and maintenance projects, including:
- Drywall repair, patching, and painting
- Trim, doors, windows, and finish carpentry
- Fixture installations (lighting, ceiling fans, faucets, etc.)
- Deck and fence repairs, power washing, and seasonal upkeep
- Light plumbing and electrical (where permitted)
- Assess projects and prepare on-site estimates — verbal or written — based on scope and materials.
- Communicate clearly with customers and office staff about timelines, materials, and expectations.
- Maintain clean work areas and professional appearance.
- Submit invoices weekly for completed jobs as an independent contractor.
- Must operate as a 1099 independent contractor.
- Ability to accurately estimate and quote jobs on-site.
- Minimum 3 years of proven handyman or maintenance experience.
- Own tools, reliable vehicle, and smartphone.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and integrity.
- Carry general liability insurance (or be willing to obtain).
- Willing to pass a background check and provide references.
- $35 – $50 per hour, depending on experience and estimating ability.
- Bi-Weekly payment via direct deposit (you invoice as 1099).
- Flexible scheduling — you control your availability.
- Consistent work in Naperville and neighboring suburbs.
