Graphic Designer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer with 4-6 years of experience to support our marketing and product development teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in visual storytelling within technical or engineering-driven industries, such as rugged computing, defense, or industrial systems. This hybrid position allows flexibility for both remote work and in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and product development, to create visually engaging materials that align with Core Systems' branding and messaging.
• Design marketing collateral such as brochures, datasheets, trade show displays, email campaigns, PPT/Presentation design and digital assets for the website and social media channels.
• Develop 3D models, infographics, and technical diagrams that simplify complex ideas for our technical audience.
• Assist in the design and layout of product manuals, user guides, and technical documentation.
• Create and maintain design templates and assets for ongoing use, ensuring consistency across all visual materials.
• Stay current with design trends and tools, offering fresh, innovative approaches to technical communication.
• Ensure all graphics adhere to brand guidelines and meet high-quality standards for print and digital platforms.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

AI and Machine Learning

Understanding of AI-powered design tools (i.e. Midjourney, Adobe Sensei)

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within a technical or engineering-related field.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience and some college coursework in graphic design are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with CAD tools or 3D modeling software (Maya, Blender) is a plus.
• UX/UI experience and working knowledge of (Figma)
• Experience branding and graphic standards guide.
• Photography and video experience is a plus
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in product visualization, and branding/marketing design.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and translating complex technical concepts into visual form.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of rugged computing, military, industrial, or other technical industries is a plus

Exempt Salary Details: The annualized base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $80,000. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
