This role is accountable for the full P&L and overall performance of the LATAM market. You’ll set the strategic direction, lead a cross-functional team, and champion Benefit’s disruptive DNA across every retail touchpoint. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with entrepreneurial grit, deep market experience, and the ability to translate vision into action.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a market strategy that balances short-term performance with long-term brand equity and sustainable growth.
  • Serve as the strategic bridge between San Francisco HQ and the LATAM market—adapting global priorities to meet local business realities.
  • Identify and activate high-impact growth opportunities across channels, partners, and categories.

Commercial Excellence & P&L Ownership

  • Lead the LATAM business with full P&L accountability—driving sales, managing margins, and protecting profitability.
  • Optimize pricing, trade terms, and promotional levers in partnership with retail partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Allocate capital and headcount strategically to maximize return on investment and business impact.

Market & Consumer Expertise

  • Leverage deep LATAM market knowledge to shape decisions, challenge assumptions, and stay ahead of emerging trends.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with key retail partners and other industry stakeholders.
  • Drive brand visibility through strong media presence, digital engagement, and influencer alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Validated General Manager experience in a similarly scaled or entrepreneurial consumer brand (beauty, fashion, lifestyle highly preferred).
  • Proven market knowledge of LATAM beauty and retail landscape, including key players, trends, and consumer behaviors.
  • BA Degree or equivalent required; MBA or advanced business education a plus.
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership with the ability to set direction and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Proven commercial acumen and success in managing and growing a profitable P&L.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with financial systems, CRM, and retail analytics platforms a plus.

Schedule:

  • Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly

The target salary range for this position in California is $235,000 - $285,000 annually. The actual salary offered is based on market location and will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus. This position is also eligible for the following benefits, including but not limited to: comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a 401(k) plan with employer matching, various paid time off programs; employee discounts/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts.
