We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Foreman for our growing construction business. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with a deep understanding of the construction process and the ability to lead a team. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning and design to completion. The successful candidate will have a strong background in conveyor lines, electrical work, risk management, team leadership, equipment maintenance, structural steel, fabrication, erection, and safety. This role requires a certified welder with a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality control, and exceptional problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors on all projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and plan layouts to ensure project accuracy and quality.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of construction equipment and machinery, including conveyor lines.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols, and proactively manage risk on the construction site.
• Manage the fabrication and erection of structural steel components.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and identify any potential issues or risks.
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within financial constraints.
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects on project planning and execution.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Certified welder with extensive experience in structural steel, fabrication, and erection.
• Proven experience with conveyor lines and equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and structural drawings.
• Demonstrated ability in budgeting and financial management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• A strong understanding of risk management in the construction industry.
• A commitment to quality control and maintaining high standards in all work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
