ABOUT THE JOB:
The FP&A Intern will support the Financial Planning & Analysis team by assisting with core planning, reporting, and analytical functions. This role is designed for a student seeking practical experience in corporate finance, financial modeling, and business analysis. You’ll work closely with experienced finance professionals and contribute directly to the monthly forecast process, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in managing the monthly forecast process
- Format and organize data for executive-level reporting
- Prepare PowerPoint slides for forecast and budget reviews
- Load and validate data in Adaptive Planning
- Maintain and update Excel reports with forecast data on the shared drive
- Assist in preparing process documentation and SOPs
- Participate in ad-hoc analyses and process improvement initiatives
- Strategic Project: Opportunity to contribute to refining the ROI template for M&A evaluations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounting, IT, HR)
- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and solutions
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial planning/reporting systems (e.g., Adaptive Planning) is a plus
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
- Initiative and curiosity to learn and improve processes
