The Opportunity
The Financial Analyst will play a support role in helping to drive the financial/operational performance of the GPN Product Supply Team. As a Financial Analyst at GPN supporting the Product Supply organization, your work will be used throughout the organization to drive improvements in cost, process improvements and understanding the company. This role will perform complex finance operations tasks and monitor the day-to-day relationships between the Finance, Freight and Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure financial goals are being met and in compliance with required policies and procedures. The job’s core deliverables rely on influencing or negotiating with internal contacts. Relationships typically involve successful collaboration on routine matters and/or with peer level clients and/or internal customers.
This permanent position will report to the Finance Director.

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in IL. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The annual salary for IL based employees for this role is $65,000-$80,000.

The Opportunity

This permanent position will report to the Finance Director.
- Weekly Freight/Warehouse KPI analysis.
- Monthly Stock losses and inventory provision analysis.
- Productivity/Value Engineering savings analysis for manufacturing, Freight and Warehouse.
- Forecast and budget creation for Product Supply team OpEx and CapEx
- Monthly report creation and review including project savings (manufacturing, supply chain, procurement)
- Support Productivity Improvement teams.
- Continuously Improve the Finance Operations team.
- Ad Hoc requests as needed supporting report of:
- Productivity
- Inflation
- Freight
- Warehouse
- Operations
- Inventory
- Bachelors Degree and/or Professional Accountancy Qualification
- Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, sumif, v-lookup, etc.)
- Self-starter
- Good communicator
- Ability to dissect reports and recommend changes.
- Review capital projects to justify ROI. Ad-hoc analysis for Sr. Management.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Team player – Will be working with various functional owners at the plants and at corporate.
- Manufacturing plant experience is a plus
