The Oklahoma City Thunder is seeking a Fan Journey Coordinator to execute fan-centric digital engagement strategies across multiple channels while contributing insights to optimize fan development. This metrics-driven position plays a key role in executing and evaluating omni-channel tactics that support the organization’s business objectives. This early-career position collaborates across departments to drive fan acquisition, mobilization, and conversion through innovative technology solutions.

This is a full-time, hourly position reporting to the Manager, Thunder Innovations. Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and regional events. Must have valid driver’s license and transportation as travel is required. Physical requirements will include lifting and bending.

This metrics-driven position plays a key role in executing and evaluating omni-channel tactics that support the organization’s business objectives. This early-career position collaborates across departments to drive fan acquisition, mobilization, and conversion through innovative technology solutions.
In this role you will:
- Execute the fan journey strategy with a focus on outbound marketing channels, including email, text messaging (SMS), the fan club mobile app, and direct system integration (DSI)
- Oversee and maintain the in-venue lead generation and digital in-seat engagement platform for all Thunder home games
- Oversee execution of digital fan touchpoint strategy, including SMS and direct email tactics, to achieve business objectives
- Operate digital fan loyalty and engagement platforms, including the Kid’s Club, maintaining online rewards and reporting on engagement performance
- Oversee data submission from fan programs and lead generation campaigns, providing quarterly reports on lead progression through the fan funnel
- Identify lead source trends and insights to develop strategies for fan development
- Implement new technologies, manage vendor relationships, and identify business solutions that enhance organizational efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the digital engagement space
- Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SMS and direct email
- Strategic thinker and problem solver with a curiosity for process efficiencies
- Strong analytical background with the ability to pair advanced insights with clear communication
- Preferred experience or working knowledge of API development, Tableau, SQL, and Python
- Highly organized, professional, and detail oriented
- Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills
