Facility Technician - Campus

Job Title: Facility Technician - FT

Locations: Goodwill North Central Texas - 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas

Salary: $14.82 per hour

Work Hours: FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Typical start time of 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

General Job Duties: Service, clean, or supply restrooms; clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming; gather and empty trash; follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures; mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications; clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees; notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems; requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties; dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment; strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Adheres to Goodwill and departmental policies and procedures. Other duties as requested.

Specific Requirements: Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Preference for performing routine and repetitive duties.

Physical Requirements: Physical stamina is needed to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Walking, standing for prolonged periods of time, stooping, reaching and pulling, pushing, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching with your body, arms, and legs; throughout the working day.

Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9, background check, physical assessment, and drug screen.
