This Is How You WOW

  • Performs routine preventative maintenance operations
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure and other pieces of equipment and office furniture
  • Install/Repair ceiling tiles, light bulbs and ballasts as needed
  • Assemble and tear down of racking
  • Performs forklift battery inspections
  • Performs minor forklift repair
  • Assists in conveyor PM/Rework and repair
  • Performs some fabrication/welding
  • Electrical install/new and rework/repair
  • Floor repair
  • Generator Maintenance
  • Fan repair
  • Fire suppression
  • Utilize standard hand, portable power tools and large equipment
  • Landscape upkeep to include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse.
  • Facility upkeep of building: including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing windows.
  • Assists other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
  • Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintains production/maintenance records when applicable

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

  • Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two to four years of related experience is required.    
  • Experience trouble shooting and repairing electrical circuitry  
  • Forklift repair
  • MS Office products: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and taste or smell.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually high, proper protective equipment is required.
