As the LM TLS/RMS F-35 Fleet Mod Management Sustainment Analyst, you will have accountable for strategic fleet management integration and forward planning to ensure the diverse functional teams responsible for overall joint fleet management are in place and functioning effectively. The effort includes working with the LM Aero F-35 Joint Fleet Management team and involves the development of fleet management plans that ensure the global and customer’s aircraft fleet is managed to ensure the proper time phasing and cost planning for modifications to keep the fleet current. The position requires working with multiple military fleet management professionals to incorporate the F-35 into the services policies and procedures and align those aircraft mod programs with the overarching F-35 program. The Joint Fleet Management team is responsible for providing technical analysis, development, and direction to the technical team responsible for ensuring that the F-35 fleet modifications are optimized, integrated, and ensure capable and maintainable systems for the warfighter. Included are all aspects of fleet management to integrate the technical and cost realities into a plan the best supports the service customer’s sustainment objectives and needs.
