Siemens is looking to hire an Entry Software Development Engineer for their Grand Prairie manufacturing facility. This person will create data analytics tools to assess performance metrics, automate reports, and derive insights for informed decision-making in engineering processes.

Siemens is looking to hire an Entry Software Development Engineer for their Grand Prairie manufacturing facility. This person will create data analytics tools to assess performance metrics, automate reports, and derive insights for informed decision-making in engineering processes.
You will make an impact by:
- Enable automated information flow from quality issues data to engineering department.
- Identify and resolve issues in shop floor systems, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
- Support the development and integration of engineering drawings (Electrical and Mechanical) and quality issues that enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality of the department.
- Work with senior engineers to define solution outcomes and drive the solution to final solution deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to increase flow through quality issues data pipeline to quality check software.
- Work with quality team on issues caused by engineering errors for final resolution
- Support all COMPAS enhancement-related requests.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or combination of related education and experience.
- 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment creating/working with data models to assist in reducing errors. Will consider recent college grad with similar experience working with internships.
- Experience with Node-RED, Java Script, VB, .net or any other language to develop a solution.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Strong experience with requirements planning and alignment with solution stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and utilize data for decision-making.
