Marksman Security Corporation is now seeking a Director of Security Operations!
The Director of Security will oversee security personnel, ensuring the site is properly staffed and officers are trained and motivated. The Director of Security will also work closely with the client contact to achieve goals and objectives set forth by Marksman Security and the association.
$70k-$80k Annually
Ideal candidates will have previous experience in corrections, law enforcement, military security, account management armed or unarmed guard/officer experience and or other related fields.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing development, coordination, and maintenance of the Public Safety Program. This role will align with client management and corporate policy to foster a service-oriented environment that actively deters and controls crime.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Developing and implementing policies, practices, and plans related to public safety.
- Creating and maintaining a program that ensures employees are well-trained and properly motivated.
- Managing the location's administrative functions, including the accurate and timely submission of incident reports, equipment logs, personnel documents, weekly payroll, and licensure compliance.
- Performing personnel-related duties, including professional development, hiring, promoting, performance documentation, scheduling, and terminations.
- Promoting a positive relationship and acting as a liaison between Marksman Security Corporate and Client Management.
- Directing and ensuring compliance with Workplace Safety procedures, employee orientation, and training documentation as required by the Client, Company, and government.
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative relations with local authorities.
Additional Requirements Include
- A valid State Driver's License.
- Current possession of, or application for, appropriate State registration.
- Practical knowledge of law enforcement procedures, technical writing, civil law, criminal law, security procedures, investigative procedures, training programs, and personnel management.
- Physical mobility and possession of senses necessary to perform the position's requirements, which include climbing stairs, standing, patrolling indoors and outdoors, and driving a vehicle for the duration of each shift.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively and tactfully with the public
