What does a successful Director, Communications, Global Brand do at Fiserv
The Director, Communications, drives the development and successful execution of communications strategies supporting associate engagement for the Merchant Solutions business. This position creates communications plans, key messages and content for a variety of strategic communications and drives their successful execution and implementation. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the communications leadership team, partnering cross-functionally and within the Global Brand team to deliver integrated communications strategies for associate engagement

What does a successful Director, Communications, Global Brand do at Fiserv
The Director, Communications, drives the development and successful execution of communications strategies supporting associate engagement for the Merchant Solutions business. This position creates communications plans, key messages and content for a variety of strategic communications and drives their successful execution and implementation. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the communications leadership team, partnering cross-functionally and within the Global Brand team to deliver integrated communications strategies for associate engagement
What You Will Do
- Design and manage communications campaigns that support marketing campaigns, product launches, service updates, policy changes, and cultural moments
- Oversee the development of executive messaging, organizational updates, video scripts, talking points, and FAQs for associates across the global Merchant Solutions business
- Develop and lead a comprehensive internal communications strategy for all business and client-facing functions
- Partner closely with senior executives to craft messages that reinforce business priorities and client-centric culture
- Translate complex initiatives into compelling narratives that drive understanding and engagement for associates
- Optimize and evolve communication channels to meet the needs of geographically dispersed, high-touch teams (e.g., digital newsletters, intranet hubs, team meetings, toolkits)
- 9+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, preferably in client-facing, sales, or service-oriented environments
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Experience writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a proven ability to influence at the executive level
- Experience providing communications counsel to business executives and proven ability to influence at the executive level
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field
- Strong business acumen and comfort working in fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting communications in matrixed organizations with a distributed workforce
- Deep understanding of the challenges and needs of client-facing teams
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
- Collaborative, confident, agile and proactive communicator
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and work weekends/evenings, as necessary
