We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Analyst with a minimum of 4 years in data analysis or statistical modeling. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python, as well as proficiency in data visualization tools. This role involves applying data analysis techniques to financial services, developing and maintaining data analytics routines, and identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies to evaluate risks and controls. The successful candidate will also build strong relationships with key data owners to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of audit processes through automation and advanced analytics.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Analyst with a minimum of 4 years in data analysis or statistical modeling. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python, as well as proficiency in data visualization tools. This role involves applying data analysis techniques to financial services, developing and maintaining data analytics routines, and identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies to evaluate risks and controls. The successful candidate will also build strong relationships with key data owners to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of audit processes through automation and advanced analytics.
- Minimum 4+ years of data analysis and/or statistical modeling analysis experience
- Strong experience with analytics tools including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Python, etc.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools
- Proficient understanding and application of data analysis used in financial services
- Demonstrated quantitative, analytical, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in data analytics and automation techniques
- Identify, design, implement, and maintain the data analytics routines needed to support operations and reporting
- Proactively establish connections with key data owners and help build and understand data to support the analytics being performed
- Develop and maintain a successful system of data analytics which will provide an enhanced understanding of risks and controls and establish an efficient/automated means to analyze and increase testing volumes of data for outliers, anomalies, patterns, and trends to evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls
- BA/BS degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience
- Must be proficient in Excel
- Advanced experience in data mining and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in Python
- Familiarity with statistical analysis methodologies, including regression analysis
- Ability to extract, manipulate, and validate quality data from multiple sources
- Strong analytical skills with capability to present findings in a non-technical manner
