Job Summary:

The University of North Texas is a Tier One research university committed to transforming lives through education. The Data Analyst - Reporting will perform data reporting and dashboard creation while collaborating with various departments to support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data reporting and dashboard creation and maintenance operations daily such as Power BI dashboard creation/data querying and data refresh.

• Responsible for generating data requests via Blackbaud Raisers Edge/NXT by evaluating customer needs and data resources.

• Assist with projects regarding the building of a data warehouse and subsequent reporting involving Power BI or other software.

• Collaborates with University Advancement, as well as University wide partners.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative research field such as social science research, data analytics, computer science, computer/information sciences, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Strong mathematical and technical ability

• Strong analytical skills

• Working knowledge of relational databases

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Access and Excel

• Ability to quickly assimilate to specific software

• Ability to quickly assimilate how data sets impact related systems and functions

Preferred:

• Previous experience with or certification in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, SQL or other programming languages, Power BI or other reporting software

• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
