Position Summary/Objective

The Data Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling our reporting infrastructure. This includes setting up and managing BI tools, maintaining the data warehouse environment, writing and optimizing SQL queries, and building reports using data from systems like NetSuite. This role is ideal for someone who is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to drive business decisions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• BI Tool Management: Implement, configure, and maintain our Business Intelligence (BI) tool(s) (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Report Development: Build dashboards and ad hoc reports to support finance, sales, operations, and marketing teams using data from multiple sources, including NetSuite.
• Data Warehouse Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and improve the performance of the data warehouse; ensure data accuracy, reliability, and availability.
• SQL Development: Write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from internal systems.
• NetSuite Data Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of NetSuite"s data structure to create meaningful, finance- and operations-focused reports.
• Data Quality & Governance: Identify data integrity issues and inconsistencies; work with stakeholders to resolve them and improve data quality standards.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across the company to gather reporting requirements and deliver clear, insightful, and actionable analytics.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a data analyst, BI, or related role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• 6-month minimum experience with DAX (data analytic expression).
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Experience working with NetSuite or a good understanding of its data structure.
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or similar) preferred.
  
  

Physical Requirements

This is a primarily sedentary position, however, standing desks are available for use. Associates may occasionally climb stairs, bend, stoop, walk, lift up to 10 lbs., and crouch as needed. Rarely associates in this position may be asked to push/pull up to 50 lbs., work in extreme conditions (heat/cold), and/or travel on a voluntary basis.
