Provides general assistance to all staff within the Culture Program. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, maintaining monthly Culture Program Schedule, assisting with Culture Program activities and classes, tracking Culture Program participation, monitoring Culture Program budget, and day to day operation of Culture Program building.

  • Maintain the front desk operations of the Culture Program.
  • Maintain the monthly Culture Program schedule.
  • Track Culture Program activities and classes including participation into monthly reports.
  • Assist with Culture Program activities and classes.
  • Monitor the Culture Program budget.
  • Assist with day to day activities within the Culture Program and building.
  • Applicant should be knowledgeable about Muckleshoot’s purchasing processes and policies.
  • Must possess the ability to multitask and the ability to communicate with the public by telephone and in person.
  • Because of the Tribe’s commitment to community service and the well-being of its members, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities.


REQUIRED

High School Diploma or GED required.

Must have and maintain a Valid Washington State Driver’s License. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all job duties, and recognize sensitivity of artifacts to protect from damage and loss. Must be willing to travel for training.

PREFERRED

Two (2) years of college level education.

Must have research skills and knowledge, plus have an interest in Muckleshoot Culture. Must have the ability to create and maintain databases. Must have good knowledge of office equipment and computer skills.

Manual and finger dexterity required. Frequently sits or stands for variable amounts of time. Must have the ability to lift or carry fifty (50) pounds. Occasionally push, pull, grasp, bend and walk in various job duties. Communication is essential in this position, as incumbent will speak, listen, and use sight. Will occasionally operate a moving vehicle.

Valid Washington State Driver’s License
