As a Creative Talent Recruiter at Designity, you’ll play a vital role in building a community of top-tier Creative Directors and Creatives. This role focuses on identifying exceptional talent with strong design skills and leadership potential. You’ll be responsible for reviewing portfolios, conducting culture-fit interviews, and leading challenge workshops to ensure candidates meet our high creative standards. By selecting the right talent, you’ll help ensure that Designity’s projects are guided by innovative, quality-driven creatives who enhance our commitment to excellence.
Designity is a subscription-based collaborative creative platform that enables creatives and businesses to collaborate more effectively through a unique and innovative model. This collaborative approach has convinced both small and large companies, including Calendly, Kung Fu Tea, and Marriott Hotels, to use Designity for their design and marketing efforts instead of traditional, costly, and inefficient alternatives.
We are transforming the creative industry, moving away from outdated and ineffective marketing and design methods. Companies typically hire in-house designers, which is costly, time-consuming, skill-limiting, and requires substantial supervision. Working with traditional design and marketing agencies offers an alternative but at a high cost. Marketplaces like Upwork and Fiverr claim to offer a more affordable solution, but their model lacks reliability and optimization for creative services, causing frustration for businesses.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with hiring managers, and leadership to gain insight into role requirements and devise recruitment strategies tailored to our Creative Director and Creative roles.
- Build and maintain a strong network of creative professionals and industry contacts, ensuring a steady pipeline of exceptional talent.
- Lead candidates through every step of the recruitment journey, from initial outreach to final selection, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
- Conduct detailed portfolio reviews and skills assessments, focusing on technical expertise, creativity, and cultural fit.
- Manage and refine the hiring process, implementing applicant tracking tools to streamline candidate information handling.
- Stay current with design industry trends, sourcing channels, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in talent acquisition.
- Organize and oversee training workshops, ensuring our community members continually align with Designity’s high standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of experience in creative recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within an agency or startup environment.
- Proven ability to evaluate design talent, including portfolio review and behavioral analysis, with a focus on quality.
- Skilled at networking, with strong interpersonal abilities for building relationships within the creative community.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Design, or a related field; additional design education is a plus.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and experienced.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss design concepts and trends in depth.

- Knowledge of AI and experience with AI tools is highly regarded.

COMPENSATION: $75,000 - $95,000
