As the owner of end-to-end search engagements, you will contribute to everything from inception of new roles to on-boarding with finesse and speed that ensures that we secure the best and brightest and be empowered to use your creativity to deliver on great hiring decisions. Our recruitment team partners closely with stakeholders across the organization to create meaningful interview processes and fantastic candidate experiences.

Our recruiters understand what motivates candidates and apply our expertise to foster trust-based relationships with talented professional individual contributors and managers. As you build talent pipelines and drive a portfolio of active searches, we will ensure that your ideas are heard, supported and funded. Together with the help of a committed internal recruiting team, you will differentiate Vivid Seats as the employer of choice by embodying our values and proudly representing our brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business objectives, assess hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and manage searches through the recruiting lifecycle
  • Demonstrate and advise teams on recruitment best practices, including the use of level appropriate objective assessments and score cards
  • Maintain a high bar for talent assessment and actively coach teams to ensure hiring decisions that align with our company values
  • Represent the Vivid Seats brand in the broader talent market
  • Manage candidate and hiring manager expectations to ensure a smooth recruiting process
  • Build offer letters, compensation packages, and handle all negotiations with candidates
  • Manage a portfolio of active searches and proactively seek out talent to build the pipeline

How your role expectations will progress in the first 30, 90, and 180 days:

30 days in

  • Complete new hire orientation, gaining the resources you need to be successful.  
  • Learn how ticket marketplaces operate and how you will contribute to providing great experiences for our customers.
  • Acclimate to team and company norms, business objectives, and Vivid Seats values.
  • Meet with hiring managers, set check in cadences, assess applicants, and advance candidates through the interview phases.
  • Meaningfully contribute to or close on your first professional level hire.

90 days in

  • Contribute to our approaches, methods, or technologies that support overall business goals and drive team efficiencies.
  • Maintain, harvest and aid internal and external relationships to achieve progress and advance objectives.
  • Identify challenges and coach hiring teams to improve best practices and talent assessment strategies towards better outcomes
  • Continue fulfilling hiring goals across multiple teams

180 days in

  • Deeply understand and contribute to advancing the necessary talent assessment skills to hire top talent
  • Partner with the broader people team to identify and drive the improvement of key talent assessment, acquisition, engagement, and retention themes
  • Leverage relationships across multiple teams to hone your business acumen, sharing your learnings internally and externally.

What you'll bring:

  • Core industry knowledge and expertise in assessing behavioral attributes and creating assessment criteria, with a desire to coach others to do the same
  • A proven career in corporate recruiting, preferably experience hiring professional positions in departments such as finance, accounting, marketing, legal, or sales
  • Strong sourcing and attraction techniques, including the ability to attract and convert passive candidates
  • Intrinsic motivation to take on new responsibilities; proactively partnering with teams and individuals to remove blockers and fulfill immediate hiring needs while contributing to the overall talent acquisition strategy
  • An understanding of basic employment law and interviewing best practices (behavioral and functional)
  • An agile mindset, responding quickly and autonomously to change
  • Strong influential, negotiation, and coaching skills; communication, organization, and attention to detail
  • Experience with both in-house and agency recruiting is a plus
  • Inherent curiosity and drive towards continuous improvement of best practices, goals, stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration
