Position Description
The Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering content that engages and informs stakeholders across all levels of the organization in support of Modine’s priorities. This role is more focused on internal communications with select external communications responsibilities. While mostly a tactical role, this position offers opportunity to shape the direction of Modine’s messages and communications tools, and will lead the implementation of related governance processes. The successful candidate will have excellent writing and project management skills and be able to operated with high attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity working in a B2B 80/20 environment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging written and visual content for different corporate communication channels.
- Manage all aspects of the employee intranet, ensuring content is current and relevant. Help drive project to overhaul and modernize intranet.
- Support and provide counsel to internal teams for their communications for a broad employee audience. Manage processes and calendars for internal channels and platforms.
- Manage all aspects of the creation and delivery of employee newsletters.
- Manage platform to email employees about internal news or updates.
- Write stories connected to our Purpose, Mission and Values, and our 80/20 framework.
- Develop and manage shared internal tool to host corporate assets.
- Review communications and presentation materials to ensure message is clear, consistent, and compelling.
- Support events, meetings, writing/editing reports, and other corporate projects.
- 0-3+ years general communication experience that includes creation and delivery of written and visual content for internal and external audiences. Work experience can include internships and special projects.
- Disciplined self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Energetic storyteller with excellent writing and editing skills with a proven ability to identify and crystallize key messages.
- Creative thinking and analytical skills to develop alternative approaches and strategies.
- Experience editing videos and using Adobe Creative Suite/InDesign/Photoshop is a plus.
- Commitment to discretion and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, quickly establishing rapport and building productive relationships; ability to successfully navigate and resolve conflict.
- Proficiency with range of Microsoft Office 365 products, including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Stream/ClipChamp.
