Job Description: Communications Coordinator
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our communication efforts and enhancing our organizational voice. The ideal candidate will have a flair for writing, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to craft compelling content across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Create, edit, and publish content for newsletters, press releases, and social media platforms.
- Manage and monitor the organization's social media presence and campaigns.
- Coordinate internal communications to ensure key messages are shared effectively within the organization.
- Assist in organizing community outreach events and promotional activities.
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor communication practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in communications, marketing, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with content management systems.
