CNC Machinist I/II

Responsible for the setup and operation of 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC

Machines, as well as checking first parts, using precision measuring and

hand tools.

• Configure mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero
  
  

and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation,

and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic

math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs

• Load machines with workpieces
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample

• Maintain specifications by observing operations; taking
  
  

measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes;

editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to

quality assurance procedures and processes

• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for

add value to job accomplishments

• Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
