- Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound nursing judgment in care decisions.
- Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to create and guide care plans, and directs ancillary staff.
- The nurse ensures compassionate, competent care for patients, referring facilities, and hospital staff, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and privacy standards.
