The**Licensed Lead Clinician (Lead Specialist, Child Well-Being)** is the point of contact for matters related to child well-being at DHS sites.

The**Licensed Lead Clinician (Lead Specialist, Child Well-Being)** is the point of contact for matters related to child well-being at DHS sites.
Essential Functions
- Provide related advisement and decision support regarding child well-being and communicate program information to leadership
- Manage all program matters to provide support through professional opinions, technical expertise, and technical assistance regarding sector-wide concerns for child wellbeing and trauma-informed care
- coordination for special cases that may be escalated by the CWB Specialist, including facilitation of connection across local, state, and federal resources
- Engage with leadership and all necessary stakeholders to coordinate care and expedite placement
- Maintain an updated surge support deployment plan and coordinate the deployment of CWB Specialists to surge support activities as necessary
- Coordinate with management on reporting requirements, implementing initiatives, and responding to requests for information
- Implement regular guidance to support continuity in care, elimination of duplication of effort, and synchronization of activities across the entire child well-being program operational footprint
- Respond to requests for information by providing routine process and outcome metrics reports to support monitoring and evaluating program success
- Other duties as assigned
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to support several sites through ongoing communication and review of assessment data
- Ability to communicate with site and government staff effectively and efficiently

- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment within a developing new program
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
- Good research skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English
- Deployed Services operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Masters degree in behavioral health or related field; doctoral degree preferred
- Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Doctor level prepared psychologist (LP) or equivalent within the state(s)
- 5 years of working experience in child development, culturally aware and trauma-centered care, performing clinical evaluations in direct engagement with children and their families
- 2 years of management experience leading and supervising staff
- Prior experience in cultural humility, child development, trauma-informed care, and psychological distress training and development is preferred but not required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.and able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a motor vehicle record check, as well as an employer and government background check (e-QIP or eAPP), after accepting a conditional offer of employment
