Cash Application Specialist

The Cash Application Specialist will work with the Accounts Receivable department to process high volume transactions. You will be responsible for timely and accurate posting of payments against open receivables. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-volume environment and previous accounts receivable experience.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm EST.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Daily preparation and application of all incoming payments
• Maintain accurate records by reviewing invoices, debits, and credits.
• Follow-up on checks rejected by bank.
• Complete corrective payment entries on customer accounts per Credit Analyst requests.
• Utilize accounting software systems
• Assist the collections team regarding shorts and skips
  
  

Qualifications

You have:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable
• Strong attention to detail & e xcellent communication skills
• Basic Excel proficiency
