SUMMARY:

Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of beverage stations and equipment in accordance with property standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following

  • Cleans beverage areas in restaurant and casino bar stations, Silver Creek Event Center and pool bar areas.
  • Provides and replenishes beverage stock and supplies.
  • Removes empty bottles and trash.
  • Prepares necessary fruit for use as garnishes.
  • Receives, issues and keeps necessary records of liquor store and supplies.
  • Serves as back up for bartenders when necessary.
  • Promotes outstanding guests services on a continual basis.
  • Participates as a team member with bartenders, utilities, servers, supervisors and all other pertinent employees in ensuring a efficient operation.
  • Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.
  • Assists and covers breaks for bartender when applicable.
  • Replenishes ice as needed.
  • Anticipates needs of bartenders and guests.
  • Follows all C.A.R.E. guidelines to help assist with guests’ responsible consumption.
  • Sweeps and mops bar and beverage service areas when requested.

Qualification Requirements

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Minimum of one year previous experience in a similar capacity.

Special Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems.

This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment is typically smoky. Working in the Pool Bar location will present exposure to multiple weather conditions.
