Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organization

Provide operational, process and organizational management to direct manager and team. Drive day to day business in the respective business unit, provide ad hoc support on operational topics and work on business related projects. Support running an efficient head office and ensure a smooth communication flow between your business unit senior leadership team and operating functions within it.

Key Responsibilities

Projects

  • Support on steering projects and ensure deadlines and targets are successfully achieved. Work closely with direct manager, team and departments involved making sure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule
  • Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan by effectively coordinating people and resources
  • Ensure communication to senior leadership team and US Sports & CCP organization on progression of strategic projects
  • Contribute to the global and local Strategic Business Planning (SBP) process (e.g., identifying timelines, document development, global submissions, communication packages)
  • Support other strategic BU projects and ad-hoc strategic planning activities (e.g., market visits, business reviews, strategy workshops, individual briefings)

Head Office

  • Support an efficient head office
    • Gather and provide information to key stakeholders in a user friendly and presentable format
    • Organize meetings, take and distribute notes of meetings and follow up on action steps in a timely manner
    • Provide Business Unit submissions to Global Head Office teams on a monthly cadence
    • Support planning and execution of Head Office owned milestones, plus required follow-ups for future improvements
    • Partner with Business Unit executive assistant on monthly outlook supporting senior leadership team
    • Manage Business Unit Head Office email address
  • Assist your direct manager in all administrative tasks and duties (i.e. calendar management, meeting organization)
  • Represent the BU internally to stakeholders (e.g. Internal Communications & Events)
  • Set up and implement smart tools and solutions (e.g. SharePoint, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, etc.) as well as consistent templates in line with NAM meeting governance, Global templates and overall best practices
  • Independently manage action tracking and updates within company systems that fuel reporting upwards and downwards
Presentations

  • Create compelling presentations for various business needs
  • Ensure consistency, flow and high quality of presentations by following adidas brand guidelines and creating business related templates when necessary

Key Relationships

  • Senior leadership within US Sports & CCP & NCAA/Team GTM
  • Functions within own business unit; Product Marketing, Design, Merchandising, Brand Communications, and Development
  • Sports Marketing & NCAA functions
  • Marketing Operations
  • Global & Market Head Office teams
  • External stakeholders: key accounts, external partners

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • Business related degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2 years relevant business experience in project management or administration
  • Proven experience in cross-functional and collaborative working (matrix organization)
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
