A Day in the Life
As the Assistant Manager – Marketing for Mizani DMI, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the brand’s global success. Reporting to the Brand Pod Lead, you’ll be at the heart of product development, launch execution, and long-term strategy for Mizani, a global leader in professional textured hair care.

A Day in the Life
As the Assistant Manager – Marketing for Mizani DMI, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the brand’s global success. Reporting to the Brand Pod Lead, you’ll be at the heart of product development, launch execution, and long-term strategy for Mizani, a global leader in professional textured hair care.
Here’s What You’ll Be Working On
- Product Development & Strategy:
- Lead the development of innovative products and packaging tailored to the professional salon industry.
- Conduct market research, focus groups, and competitive analysis to inform product strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&I, Claims, Digital, Education, E-commerce, Creative) to deliver successful launches.
- Initiate briefs for new projects and manage execution from ideation to production.
- Oversee global artworks, POs, and assist with budget management.
- Ensure alignment with the US Marketing Team and other Drive countries.
- Manage artwork and digital shoot budgets.
- Conduct competitive analysis and testing.
- Leverage tools like Tag and Flow to ensure timely approvals for artwork and updates.
- A college degree (BFA, BA, or AAS preferred) or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
- 1+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the beauty industry (hair care, color, or styling experience is a plus).
- Exceptional attention to detail, project management, and planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships with diverse international teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); language skills are a plus.
- A proactive mindset, financial acumen, and the ability to travel (up to 25%).
