About The Role & Team

Creative Studios is a dynamic, fast-paced in-house design and motion graphics team within the Disney Advertising group. The team specializes in branded sales materials and communication collateral, including presentations, web design, print ads, event assets, signage, e-vites, and custom email designs. Creative Studios also handles video editing for sales sizzle reels and manages the business-to-business website for Disney Advertising Sales (DAS). Additionally, the team leads production for all virtual and in-person events, such as the Tech & Data Showcase, Sports Summit, and The Upfront.

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Designer with a strong portfolio and a passion for crafting visually engaging content who can take projects from initial idea through to final execution.

In this role, you will design a range of materials while collaborating with cross-functional partners in sales and communications. Strong design skills, fluency in industry-standard software, and a solid grasp of visual design principles are essential. Excellent stakeholder management across multiple teams is also critical.

This position also includes hands-on involvement in live productions—supporting longer-term and last-minute graphic edits.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, manage and design sales presentations, emails, event signage, print ads, social media, and other business development material while following internal brand guides and standards to create compelling and inventive designs, across multiple stakeholder groups (Sales, Marketing, Communications).
    • This includes taking feedback from stakeholders and quickly delivering back revisions that align with business objectives.
  • Provide production support for all for live and virtually produced events, inclusive of scheduling & stage-managing shoots, maintaining run of show in order for seamless program execution, working with script writers to ensure teleprompters are set up and formatted properly for talent, etc.
    • This includes design and editing of graphics, animations, stage management, VIP hospitality, handling of talent in preparations for being on stage, script management, etc.
Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years in a visual design-related field with knowledge of diverse design styles and applications with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects.
  • Considerable experience designing presentations within Keynote or PowerPoint from start to finish
  • Strong "storytelling” abilities and a positive team-oriented attitude a must.
  • Strong eye for, and understanding of, brand standards and how to execute designs against them
  • Ability to work independently, take direction from multiple stakeholders and handle various projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently on assigned projects but confident enough to ask for guidance and input when needed
  • Works well in a team and with a wide range of personalities and job levels
  • Reciprocal attitude and openness to give and receive feedback

Preferred Education & Skills:

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Expertise in Apple iWork applications (Keynote, Pages, Numbers)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with AfterEffects & video editing
  • Familiarity with print and color correction
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
