What You Will Do

As the Admissions Director you play a key role in maintaining the number of patients in the facility. Admissions Directors represent the facility and work directly with the community, perspective residents and their families. Cadia is dedicated to providing the best care possible and that’s where you come in.

Responsibilities

• Serve as facility primary contact with Corporate Clinical Liaison and referral sources regarding admissions
• Maintain referral log, database of medical contacts and community resources
• Responsibility for bed management for entire facility
• Maintain a working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and assist with managed care referral process
• Provide information to families regarding LTC stay, costs and regulations
• Responsible for the completion of daily census reports
• Complete required reports to state regulatory agency
• Arrange qualified coverage for admissions when away from the building for any amount of time
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• At least 5 year of experience working with insurance companies and insurance verification preferred
• Experience in Admissions within a skilled nursing setting is required.
• Medicare and Medicaid insurance knowledge is required
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and various automated health information systems is required
