Contract type: Full time
NOTE: This hybrid position requires you to be physically present in Austin, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, or NYC.

Alpha School is transforming the landscape of education. By combining AI-powered learning, mastery-based advancement, and outstanding guides, Alpha enables students to explore their passions while reaching exceptional academic results.

In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial outreach through enrollment, making sure every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, care, and high standards. You will manage day-to-day correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and keep precise applicant data that supports sound decision-making.

If you excel in a dynamic, purpose-driven setting—where responsiveness, attention to detail, and operational excellence directly influence family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid role provides both remote flexibility and consistent in-person participation at admissions activities.

What You Will Be Doing

Manage and respond to the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and professional communication to prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with meticulous attention to accuracy

Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, whether on campus or virtual

Work closely with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day schedules

Ensure admissions platforms, records, and outreach activities remain current and precise

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Shape overall admissions strategy or render final admissions judgments
  • Function in a strictly administrative capacity with no direct family contact
  • Navigate a sluggish, heavily procedural organizational structure
  • Prioritize relationship cultivation without rigorous execution and accountability

Admissions Associate Key Responsibilities

This position ensures that a smooth, high-conversion admissions process fuels robust enrollment and family satisfaction at Alpha's campuses.

Basic Requirements

  • Experience in education, teaching, admissions, enrollment management, or a comparable area
  • 2+ years in a customer-facing capacity within admissions, enrollment, events, or similar functions
  • Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and precise
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of maintaining accurate applicant files or CRM information
  • At ease managing remote responsibilities alongside in-person campus duties
  • Capable of adjusting rapidly and succeeding in a fast-moving, mission-focused environment
  • Authorized to work in the US and available to work on-site in Austin; TX, San Francisco; CA, Santa Barbara; CA or NYC; NY
