Overview

As the Accounts Payable Clerk for Royal Truck Body (A Shyft Brand) based in Carson, CA , you will be instrumental in providing vendors with accurate and timely payments and ensuring that invoices are paid, documented, and approved. You will also provide administrative support to the Plant Controller and maintain accurate financial records within the SAGE100 system.

You will also:

• Process and code invoices, matching to purchase orders and verifying accuracy
• Perform data entry in SAGE100, including invoice, vendor, and purchase order management
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and assist with month-end closing
• Prepare and process check runs, manual checks, and petty cash disbursements
• Maintain vendor files, including insurance certificates and 1099 information

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ Accounts Payable experience in a related accounting role
• Proficiency in an ERP system, Microsoft 365, particularly Excel (Intermediate), Word, and Outlook.
• Attentive to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing
