REPORTS TO: 2nd Shift Operations Manager
JOB SUMMARY:?
The Production Supervisor, Wholesale & Warehouse is responsible for effectively supervising the activities of processing, packing and receiving teams to meet the production schedules all while complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and corporate standards of quality as well as health and safety.?The incumbent's role will be to guide and motivate employees in accomplishing their tasks while ensuring they have the necessary tools, information, and training to do so.?

The Production Supervisor, Wholesale & Warehouse is responsible for effectively supervising the activities of processing, packing and receiving teams to meet the production schedules all while complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and corporate standards of quality as well as health and safety.?The incumbent's role will be to guide and motivate employees in accomplishing their tasks while ensuring they have the necessary tools, information, and training to do so.?
Key Responsibilities
- Daily supervision of Wholesale, Packing, and Warehouse department employees and workflows to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Coordinate inbound and outbound receiving, ensuring all packages are accounted for, and discrepancies are reported and resolved.
- Work with HR to Interview, hire, train, document and terminate staff.
- Track employee attendance and reconcile timekeeping in systems such as Paylocity.
- Ensure team training is up to date and compliant with SOPs and company policies.
- Collaborate with HR and Quality to develop, update, and implement SOPs.
- Maintain and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for receiving, processing, and shipping.
- Conduct regular performance reviews; coach and develop team members to drive performance and accountability.
- Provide administrative support to processing teams as needed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with cross-functional teams.
- Order department supplies and ensure equipment is maintained.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operations.
Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Supervisory Experience: Prior leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly desirable.
- Leadership & Team Development: Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, engaging, and autonomous work environment. Committed to employee development and team success.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; known for building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Adaptability & Organization: Quick learner with excellent organizational skills and a strong results-oriented mindset.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Basic computer skills are required.
- Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Proven team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
- Work Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet business demands.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience?is preferred
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is preferred.
- Work with department Lead(s) to make sure all proper training and documentation is followed within company guidelines.?
