General Summary

  • Under minimal supervision, coordinates research projects within guides of regulatory compliance and/or Code of Federal Regulation.
  • Provides technical support to Principal Investigators.
  • Duties include but not limited to, interacting with both internal and external customers at all levels and oversight of recruitment and coordinating day-to-day operations of the study.
  • Direct contact with potential and enrolled study participants expected.
  • Provides other support as required.

Education/Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology or related field.

  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and group discussions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management systems.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Passionate about patient engagement
  • Recruit, onboard, and train Patient Advisor volunteers.
  • Coordinate PFAC meetings and engagement opportunities.
  • Maintain advisor records and participation tracking.
  • Support Henry Ford staff leading Patient & Family Advisory Councils (PFACs) across the health system.
