About the Role

We are seeking qualified contractors to fulfil the role of a Vehicle Digital Imaging – Warranty Specialist, is responsible for reviewing, assessing, and validating vehicle warranty claims using digital images, videos, and supporting documents provided by dealers or service centers. The role requires strong technical understanding of automotive paint, body repair processes, and damage assessment to ensure accurate claim decisions and adherence to OEM warranty guidelines.

This remote opportunity is open to individuals located in the Midwest/South/Northeast/West regions of the United States.

Additionally, the role requires access to reliable internet and the ability to manage all responsibilities from a home office.

The project hours of operations will be Monday – Friday, in which candidate must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time.

Contractors will be engaged and paid by a third-party payroll supplier, eTeam, which will serve as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes.


Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Review and analyze digital images, videos, and supporting documents submitted for paint and body warranty claims.
  • Assess vehicle damage, repair quality, and warranty eligibility in accordance with OEM policies and guidelines.
  • Identify paint defects, corrosion, accident related damage, prior repairs, and non warranty conditions.
  • Communicate findings, request clarifications, and escalate complex cases to technical specialists when required.

Deliverables or Project Scope

  • Accurate validation and disposition of assigned warranty claims within established timelines.
  • Detailed documentation of claim decisions, supporting evidence, and system updates.
  • Constructive feedback to dealers on documentation gaps or improper claim submissions.
  • Contributions to continuous improvement initiatives, including support for training and best practices in digital imaging and warranty assessment.


Collaboration Tools or Platforms

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • OEM warranty management systems and digital imaging platforms for claim review and tracking.
  • Digital photo and video review tools used to assess vehicle condition and repair quality.
  • Cross functional collaboration with dealers, service advisors, and internal technical teams via standard enterprise communication tools.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Automobile Engineering, Paint Technology, or Body Repair OR equivalent hands on workshop/industry experience.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands on experience in automotive paint, body repair, or collision assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive paint applications, refinishing processes, corrosion diagnosis, and body panel repair techniques.
  • Ability to interpret digital images and accurately identify defects, prior repairs, and non warranty conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience reviewing paint or body related warranty claims within an OEM or automotive warranty environment.
  • Familiarity with OEM warranty guidelines, repair manuals, and standard labor times.
  • Prior experience using warranty management systems or digital imaging tools.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and professional communication skills.

  • Willingness to support training initiatives and continuous improvement related to digital imaging and warranty assessment best practices.
  • Reliable internet access and the ability to perform responsibilities in a remote or hybrid work environment, if applicable.

Compensation Disclosure

Compensation for contractor roles supporting Accenture is determined by the contractor’s employer eTeam, and varies depending on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience.

As required by law, below you’ll find the reasonable range of compensation eTeam expects to pay for this role as set forth below.

We anticipate this contractor role will be posted until 6/25/2026.
