Standard Job Description

Perform a variety of inspection operations of mechanical parts and installations fabricated and/or assembled such as; completed systems, assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, prototypes, training devices and detail parts on manufacturing prototype, production development and/or production programs. Perform inspections utilizing a variety of techniques, inspection equipment and instruments to include visual, layout methods and various conventional types of measurement devices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Working knowledge of machine parts, tooling section or mechanical assembly inspection
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on a team
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Must be able to:
    • Read and interpret Engineering drawings
    • Use precision measurement equipment
    • Use computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
Desired Skills

  • Mechanical inspection experience
  • CMM experience
  • Level II Penetrant Certified

Pay Information

  • $31.70 - $47.28

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
