Responsibilities
- Repair and rebuild steel parts, addressing blowouts and imperfections to ensure product quality
- Follow detailed directions and specifications to fabricate required parts
- Visually inspect parts and measure tolerances using a tape measure
- Perform routine machine maintenance and document work according to company standards
- Assist the department in meeting production goals by producing high-quality parts
- Operate overhead cranes to move parts and materials as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support team operations
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" increment, or willingness to learn
- Experience using overhead cranes is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work five days per week, 8-hour shifts, with rotating weekends (mandatory overtime on assigned weekends)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed
- Ability to stand and walk on hard or uneven surfaces for extended periods
- Comfort working in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures
Starting pay is $18 per hour, with increases based on experience and skill development. Overtime pay is available.
