Position Summary

The Welder is responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks to support our production and fabrication processes. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills. This is a great opportunity for an individual eager to expand their existing skills, gain new ones, and grow with a company that values quality craftsmanship and a strong work ethic. All necessary training will be provided on site.

Essential Tasks And Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and always wear appropriate PPE.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.
• Able to adapt to different issues and needs
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  
  

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to repeat motions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Innovative approach to problem solving
• Basic math and computer skills
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening
• Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment
