Description
Responsible for building pallets and loading draft, bulk, service, on premise routes in an efficient and accurate manner. This is a position starting at 10:00am and ending when all product has been picked for the day.
This position is Monday-Friday.

Qualifications, Knowledge/Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including the following:
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must constantly lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 171 pounds. The employee must occasionally pull and/or push up to 1,500 pounds on a loaded 2/4 wheel hand truck on uneven surfaces and up delivery ramps. The employee will regularly operate a forklift in the performance of duties and is required to use company equipment in a safe manner.
Working Conditions: The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold in coolers. The noise level is moderate.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Build pallets and load draft, bulk, service and on premise routes in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Remove packaged beer returned on route trucks and place product in proper location.
- Certify ending inventories from draught and/or package trucks and notify shift supervisor of any shortages, overages or discrepancies
- Follow warehouse check-in procedure regarding the labelling of close and out-of-code product
- Repack damaged product according to A&B guidelines before end of each shift
- Build Hot shot/Dock orders when needed
- Unload transports when necessary
- Wipe down and perform crown safety inspection daily, fill-out and give checklist to supervisor
- Properly use the shrink wrap machine when necessary
- Perform housekeeping tasks assigned by shift supervision
- Attend all required company meetings
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications, Knowledge/Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including the following:
- Ability to appear at work as scheduled, mindful of the company’s attendance policies
- Ability to follow instructions and accept direction from supervisors in a respectful and collaborative manner
- Ability to work with others cooperatively and cordially in a spirit of teamwork
- Ability to read and understand code dates and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to fill out work orders and other correspondence
- Must obtain Pallet Jack training and certification
- Ability to operate crown forklift and drive company vehicles and tractor trailers safely on company property
- Must have product knowledge and mathematical abilities to build pallets
- Ability to complete tasks independently
- Must follow all company policies and procedures, must comply with State beverage regulations and safety program
- Must be adaptable to change
