Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Vision:
- Define and own a forward-looking technology and innovation strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (especially AI/ML, automation, digital collaboration) for actionable pilots and scale-ups to modernize core platforms and leverage technology to enhance business operations.
- Partner with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into technology initiatives that drive productivity, cost-savings, and customer-centric experiences.
- Responsible for developing and executing the company’s long-term technology strategy while ensuring that day-to-day IT operations support the business effectively.
- Define and implement an enterprise technology roadmap aligned to corporate strategy.
- Develop and implement comprehensive staffing model to efficiently and effectively leverage internal and external resources.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution.
- Establish and enforce a robust cybersecurity strategy—including threat assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response—to protect corporate data and systems.
- Collaborate with IT operations and external partners to maintain compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), internal policies, and best practices.
- Champion security-by-design principles in all new technology deployments and oversee regular security audits and penetration tests.
- Establish governance frameworks to vet, prioritize, and manage the technology pipeline.
- Balance innovation speed with security, compliance, business continuity, and operational resilience—break glass when necessary, but responsibly.
- Develop, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, agile team of technologists, data scientists, cybersecurity specialists, and innovation champions that fosters collaboration, innovation, and a stakeholder mentality.
- Foster a “fail fast, learn faster” culture that encourages experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Lead as a player coach, balancing hands-on execution with strategic oversight, while effectively deploying resources and ensuring team accountability.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, Board committees, and business-unit leaders, articulating the strategic impact of technology investments.
- Evangelize technology initiatives across the organization to drive adoption and maximize ROI.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in technology or equivalent experience.
- Proven Leadership: 10+ years leading technology, digital innovation, or cybersecurity teams, preferably in enterprise settings.
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to craft and execute multi-year technology and security roadmaps that deliver measurable business value.
- AI & Modern Digital Workplace Expertise: Hands-on experience evaluating/deploying AI, ML, automation, and digital collaboration platforms, and affecting technological change in a corporate environment.
- Cybersecurity Acumen: Deep knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), cloud security architectures, identity and access management, and incident response.
- Change Agent: Track record of driving cultural and operational change at scale—comfortable challenging the status quo.
- Customer Focus: Deep commitment to understanding and improving end-user experiences, whether internal or external.
- Technical Fluency: Solid grasp of architecture principles, cloud platforms, data analytics, cybersecurity fundamentals, and emerging tech trends.
- Business Acumen: Ability to learn and translate real estate business drivers into technology and security solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional written/oral skills; adept at influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Emotional Intelligence: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills internally and externally.
- Tactful: Able to handle difficult situations with a fine degree of tact, diplomacy, and courtesy.

- Real Estate or CRE Tech Exposure: Familiarity with real estate workflows, proptech solutions, or retail operations.
- Advanced Credentials: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS/Azure/GCP security specialty, PMP, or Scrum.
- Innovation Network: Established relationships with tech startups, vendors, or innovation ecosystems.
- Change Leadership: Formal training in organizational change management (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
